Installation
Learn how to install Claro on your Shopify store and get up and running quickly.
Purchase and download
After purchasing Claro from the Shopify Theme Store, the theme is automatically added to your store's theme library. You don't need to download any files manually.
- Go to your Shopify admin panel
- Navigate to Online Store → Themes
- Find Claro in your theme library
- Click Customize to open the theme editor
Initial setup
After installing Claro, we recommend configuring these settings first:
- Logo — Upload your logo in Header settings
- Colors — Set up your brand colors in Theme settings → Colors
- Typography — Choose your heading and body fonts
- Navigation — Set up your main menu and footer menu
- Home page — Add and configure sections for your home page
Tip: Before making changes, we recommend duplicating the theme as a backup. Go to Online Store → Themes → Actions → Duplicate.
Using the theme editor
Claro is fully customizable through Shopify's theme editor. You can add, remove, and rearrange sections on any page without touching code.
To open the theme editor:
- Go to Online Store → Themes
- Click Customize on your active Claro theme
- Use the left sidebar to navigate between pages and sections
- Click any section to edit its settings
