Installation

Install Feder on your Shopify store and get up and running quickly.

Purchase and install

After purchasing Feder from the Shopify Theme Store, the theme is added to your theme library automatically.

  1. Go to your Shopify admin
  2. Navigate to Online Store → Themes
  3. Find Feder in your theme library (or upload the Feder zip via Add theme)
  4. Click Customize to open the theme editor
  5. When you are ready for customers, click Publish

Tip: A clean Theme Store install is intentionally light. Empty product and collection pickers are expected — fill them with your catalog as you build.

Initial setup

Configure these settings first:

  1. Logo and favicon — Header settings and Theme settings → Favicon
  2. Colors — Theme settings → Colors (color schemes)
  3. Typography — Heading and body fonts
  4. Buttons — Corner style, text transform, and weight
  5. Navigation — Assign main menu (main-menu) and footer menu (footer)
  6. Cart — Choose drawer or page under Theme settings → Cart
  7. Home page — Add sections and pick your products and collections

Using the theme editor

Feder uses Online Store 2.0 sections everywhere. Open the editor from Online Store → Themes → Customize. Use the left sidebar for page sections and the gear icon for storewide Theme settings.

Before going live

  • Logo and favicon uploaded
  • Color schemes and fonts match your brand
  • Main menu and footer menu assigned
  • Home page uses your products, collections, and images
  • Product and collection templates look right on mobile
  • Cart type tested (drawer or page)
  • Social links filled or left empty (no placeholders)
  • Theme published
